Dear Parents/Guardian/Residential Counselors:
We are approaching the second semester of 2021- 2022 school year. Thomas Academy Charter School testing will begin on January 31st - February 1, 2022 for High School. High school students will ONLY attend school on the days they are testing. Middle School students school will resume in-person on Monday, January 31st. Thomas Academy will operate on a ½ Day schedule from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm starting on January 31st - February 1st . Regular classes for Middle School and High School will resume with normal hours on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Please know that faculty, staff, and students will continue to wear face masks to remain safe and healthy. Thank you for your continued support.

Please make certain that students have a healthy breakfast on those days after having a good night sleep. Encourage them to take their time on the test and do their best. Additionally, it bears mentioning that CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED in the testing sites. If a student has a cell phone in the testing site the student will be removed and a misadministration will be declared, resulting in the possibility of the entire room having to retest. It is best if they leave their phones at home on those days.
